Personalised Christening Candle with personalised box and card

The candle, a symbol of life, hope, celebration and remembrance plays an important part in a child’s Baptism / Christening / Naming ceremony.  These candles are hand-engraved and painted to order and details can include, child’s name (all or just one), date of birth and date of ceremony with the symbol of a jug pouring water to represent a Christening, however I am happy to use another symbol if the occasion is secular.

Symbols of First Holy Communion and Confirmation can be added where required and the dates for these occasions can be added at a later date.

Engraving is painted in gold or silver and the candle is presented with a gold or silver chiffon ribbon in an elegant personalised box – perfect to keep this family memento safe or ready to give as a gift.  I include personalised card which records date of ceremony with place to fill in names of celebrants and godparents.  I can also include a personalised gift card recording your message if the candle is to be sent directly for you.

Candle Size:I usually use  9″ x 2″ pillar candle,  however other sizes are available by request.

Candle Colour: White or Ivory, however other colours are possible with consultation.

Paint Colour: Gold or Silver for the most, however again other colours are available by request

Personalisation: Name (just one) or as many as the child is given, including Surname/s.  The price is the same no matter how many names! Date of birth (optional), Date of ceremony and design of jug pouring water to represent the Christening ceremony. I am happy to provide a different symbol / design with consultation.  Symbols for subsequent celebrations, such as First Holy Communion and Confirmation are Chalice & Communion Bread and Dove.

Cost: Price of Christening Candle is €45.  Additional dates at a later time are €10. Postage and packing will be extra – usually €8 for next day courier in Ireland, however I am happy to arrange alternative delivery in Dublin and Carlow areas or candle can be collected directly from me.   See my contact page for details.
